Course Overview

The SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality is designed for people who want to start or grow a career in the hospitality industry.

Students develop practical skills in customer service, hospitality operations, safe work practices, food and beverage service, coffee service, alcohol service and gaming service, depending on the course structure and selected training pathway.

This qualification can support employment in restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, catering operations and coffee shops.

General Training Pathway

Funded — Concessional Students

$1 per unit

Maximum student contribution fee: $15 total, where all 15 units are undertaken.

Funded — Non-Concessional Students

$2 per unit

Maximum student contribution fee: $30 total, where all 15 units are undertaken.

Traineeship Pathway

$1.60 per nominal hour per unit

Fee-for-Service Students

$2,995 total

Final fees will be confirmed before enrolment. Fees may vary where credit transfer, recognised prior study, funding eligibility or approved training pathway arrangements apply.

Funding Status
